Sam Webb
is a multi-disciplinary artist with a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in interrelated media. His works range from handheld optical devices to large scale immersive installations. Sam grew up in the Berkshires and his artistic practice is informed by a connection to the hills of rural New England. Predominantly inspired by nature, he reflects on the role of an artist growing up experiencing climate change. His work often repurposes recycled and found objects, suggesting with light and shadow how our perceptions of material and space may be malleable.
